Frank’s calling it early: this title race might be the sharpest one in any amateur league right now. Kelburne will look to keep momentum when they host Haghill Vale at Scotstoun, while Woodlands face Glasgow Diverse in another match that could shake up the chasing pack. Easterhouse travel to Budhill, and Blantyre United’s home tie with East End Phoenix adds another layer to a busy Championship card.

Another Sunday on the horizon and the fixtures are shaping up nicely. A few postponements around, but there’s still plenty of football worth getting out for — from the Premiership’s top-end battles to the Championship’s early title chase.
Cold air, early kick-offs and tight games — the kind of mix that brings out the best in amateur football.

No surprises at the top — Kelburne AFC lead the pack with a perfect record, five wins from five, and the kind of scoring form that makes them early favourites for promotion. But just behind, things are getting lively.
Blantyre United and Yoker Athletic Sunday both sit on thirteen points, unbeaten since opening day, and looking sharp in front of goal. Easterhouse FA are right in the mix too, and with Kraig Mackay sitting on nine goals, they’ve got a man in form who can drag games their way.
The middle of the table is stacked — Diverse, Hillwood, Drumchapel and Albion all locked on seven to ten points, meaning one result could swing positions fast. Down the bottom, Finnies, Woodlands and Budhill are still searching for a spark, while East End Phoenix will just want a clean sheet to build from.
It’s the kind of division that keeps Sunday mornings interesting — no easy predictions, no soft touches, and no one running away with it just yet.
