Eleven lads stepped up and set the bar. From Gallacher’s big stops in the derby to McGillvary’s four-goal clinic, this week’s Team of the Week is built on moments that decided games — not noise.

At the touchline, Red Star’s Scott Pollock called it right in a 4–1 derby win, while across the card defenders drove results (Da Silva’s goal + assist), midfielders changed tempo (Christie’s hat-trick), and strikers finished the job (MacDonald’s five).

GK – Ross Gallacher – CLYDEBANK RED STAR

Pulled off huge saves at vital moments, keeping Red Star ahead when it mattered most. Deserved a clean sheet for his performance – heroic between the sticks.

DEF – Nelson – BURNHILL FC

Burnhill’s captain fantastic. After a horror start, he rallied his side, led from the front, and even had a key part in the winning goal. Mr Consistent delivers again.

DEF – Jay Proctor – REMO FC

A defensive pillar who looked equally comfortable stepping into midfield. Reliable, composed, and the glue holding his side together.

DEF – Angelo Da Silva- Nethercraigs

Brilliant going forward from full-back, chipping in with both a goal and an assist. A constant attacking outlet and a nightmare for the opposition.

Midfield maestro with vision, energy, and end product. Three goals and relentless forward passing – a complete performance that drove his side to victory.

MID – Aiden Gallacher – PSP

Driving force throughout the match, created chances, and got on the scoresheet.

MID – Aqib – GLASGOW ANSAR

Aqib didn’t just play; he annoyed the defense until they broke. Tenacity personified. The only way to stop him was to foul him. MOTM, easy

MID – David Connolly – Rhu Colts

David Scored twice and played with grit and commitment despite leaving early – an impactful presence.

Unstoppable. Scored five goals in a 6–0 win and was simply unplayable. A ruthless display of finishing that defenders will want to forget fast.

STR – Rocco McGillvary – TORYGLEN THISTLE

Moved back to his natural No. 9 role and bagged four goals to crush Knightswood. A lethal reminder of what he does best – score goals for fun.

MANAGER – Scott Pollock – Clydebank Red Star

Newly promoted Clydebank Red Star, under the leadership of manager Scott Pollock, made a huge statement in the local derby, defeating Clydebank SMFC 4–1.

It was an outstanding display from the Red Star side, who showed fight, flair, and a clear sense of direction under ever improving boss.

The Ross brothers were in top form, driving the team forward and making things happen all over the pitch. Behind them, Gallacher put in a commanding performance in goal, keeping his side steady when it mattered. Campbell controlled the midfield with composure and vision, while Cluness led the line with power scoring two goals in the process.

The result wasn’t just a derby win—it was a statement of intent. Manager Scott Pollock’s tactical setup and belief in his players were evident throughout, and the team responded with energy and discipline.
