From the very first whistle, Cambuslang Football Academy looked sharp, relentless, and clinical. They put on an absolute masterclass in attacking football, slicing through the Cathcart defense almost at will.
It was a day where everything seemed to click for the visitors and absolutely nothing did for the Cathcart AFC
While the final result is a harsh reality check for Cathcart Amateurs, credit must be given to Colin Reilly and Joe Gillen for grabbing the two consolation goals. In a game where heads could have easily dropped completely, these two showed the fighting spirit to at least get their team on the score sheet. These moments, however small, are the ones the team must build on.
For Cambuslang Football Academy, however, this is a massive statement win! Scoring nine goals against any opposition proves they are a force to be reckoned with this season. They will be riding a wave of confidence into their next match
