Forget the excuses, the moans, and the “what ifs.” Eleven names delivered when it mattered, and the rest will just have to chew on it. Saturday morning football has never looked sharper, harder, or hungrier.

#TeamOfTheWeek#SaturdayMorningFootball
GK – Rory Burns – WOODBANK FC

The Woodbank shot-stopper was immense under pressure, producing big saves when his team needed him most. Burns is growing into one of the most reliable keepers around, and his calm presence between the posts helped secure a vital result.
DEF – Jordan Kinnaird – Park Sports Project

The leader at the back — Kinnaird’s composure and organisation held the defence firm. A performance full of grit and authority.
DEF – Kieran Tidser – Netherton AFC

The left back was the MOTM on the day and he scored the opening goal of the game before producing a couple of nice assists.
DEF – Daryl Glancy – Nethercraigs

Back from injury and straight into the spotlight. Glancy was immense, capped his performance with a crucial goal-line clearance, and showed why his return is such a boost for the Nerries.

MANAGER – Thomas Quinn – Rutherglen Glencairn AFC

In a stunning display of grit and determination, Thomas Quinn’s Rutherglen Glencairn AFC secured a remarkable victory over East Kilbride in the Scottish Cup, proving the pundits wrong and booking their place in the next round.
Glencairn, a club many had written off before a ball was even kicked, went into the clash as clear underdogs. Pundits gave them little chance against a formidable East Kilbride side, who were expected to cruise through to the next stage of the competition. However, Quinn’s men had other ideas.
