Who will be crowned the official Player of the Week for this round of fixtures just played on Saturday?

The third week in September brought some outstanding individual performances. Here are the players who caught our media team’s eye:

Tahir Bhatti – Glasgow Ansar – The Attacking midfielder was simply outstanding throughout the game, his quality shone through when he scored an unbelievable free kick.

Scott Sneddon – Woodbank FC – The midfield magician rolled back the years with a simply stunning performance for the club. The veteran GCFA midfielder led by example and was a major part of woodbanks hard fought victory.

Zander MacNeil – Glasgow Island – The Attacking midfielder was a thorn in the side of Clydebank SMFC all game long. Not content with creating goal Zander scored three of his own.

Andy Lindsay – Toryglen Thistle – Another dazzling display of goals and assists from the Toryglen Talisman. Andy was unstoppable on Saturday, tormenting the defence with his complete performance.

Scott Paton – Port Glasgow Boys Club – Scott scored a hatrick and assisted the 4th goal of the game, The forward was involved in absolutely everything.

Ben McAllister – River Nevis – The Striker is a shoo-in for this week’s Player of the Week nominations after a masterful performance for Nevis on Saturday. The forward was in sensational form, scoring a perfect hat-trick with a goal from his left foot, a clinical header, and a right-footed finish.

Patrick Foxworthy – Busby AFC -Foxy is back! The Busby AFC striker was in phenomenal form, netting crucial goals and leading his team to a vital win. His return to the scoresheet makes him an easy nominee for this week’s Player of the Week.

Jay McKay – Rutherglen Glencairn AFC – The Glencairn defender was superb all game long. potentially one of the hardest games of the season and he made it look easy.
