This week marks one of the toughest and most exciting “Manager of the Week” nominations yet. With outstanding performances across both domestic and international fixtures, our bosses delivered results that left us spoiled for choice.

Who will be crowned the official Manager of the week for this round of fixtures just played on Saturday.

The third week in September has featured some outstanding individual performances. We picked out a few of the best players who caught our media team’s eye on Saturday.

Brian Hay – Woodbank FC – When it comes to masterminding memorable moments on the pitch, Brian Hay has firmly stamped his authority as the architect behind Woodbank’s thrilling progression in the West of Scotland Cup. Under his astute guidance, the team delivered a pulsating 4-3 victory over Drongan United.

Murdo Graham – Glasgow Islands – Murdo has demonstrated outstanding leadership, guiding his team to an emphatic 8–2 victory over Clydebank SMFC in the GCFA Premier League. His tactical awareness, motivation, and ability to get the best out of his players highlight why he is a strong candidate for Manager of the Month.

Thomas Quinn – Rutherglen Glencairn AFC – Thomas Quinn led his Rutherglen Glencairn AFC side to one of the standout results of the week, masterminding a 4–2 victory over highly-fancied EKRR in the West of Scotland Cup. Against the odds, Quinn’s team produced a disciplined performance, showing belief, organisation and attacking flair to secure their place in the next round.

David Boyd – Nethercraigs FC – Boyd deserves recognition for the way he set up his team this weekend as his Nethercraigs side produced a top-class performance to defeat one of the form teams in the GCFA Premier League.

Connor Moffat – Westhill United – Conner Moffat masterminded a stunning 3-2 victory for Westhill United over Cambria in the West of Scotland Cup. His tactical decisions and ability to inspire his squad led to a historic upset, cementing his credentials as one of the league’s most promising managers.

Kieran Scott – Toryglen Thistle – Kieran Scott over saw an absolutely outstanding performance as his Toryglen Thistle team delivered a commanding 10-0 victory over Dean Thistle. This emphatic win showcases his ability to inspire his squad and execute a game plan to perfection, making him a standout candidate for Manager of the Week.

Ross Methven – Lokomotiv Glasgow – Ross Methven has quickly made his mark at recently relegated Lokomotiv Glasgow, steadying the ship and bringing a sense of stability to the squad. The gaffer played a pivotal role as his side secured an impressive 5-3 victory over Southside United on Saturday.

Calum Morrison – River Nevis – Calum Morrison stepped into the manager’s role at a challenging time for his club. After reshaping the squad, his efforts are beginning to pay off, highlighted by an impressive 5-2 victory over Banknock on Saturday.

Ryan Stewart – Port Glasgow Boys Club -! A 4-1 win like that, especially with a well-organized team performance, definitely makes Ryan Stewart a strong contender for Manager of the Week. His leadership, and ability to get the best out of his players clearly stood out.

Alan Sharp – Park Sports Project – Sharpy and the Park Sports Project team battled hard and triumphed 3-2 over Strathclyde University to advance in the cup! Their determination make them a standout team and their manager Alan Sharp worthy of recognition.
