Greater Croftpark Rose have been dealt a significant blow with the news that influential midfielder Gary McAloon will be out for up to six weeks with a fractured metatarsal.
The injury occurred during a GDSFC Sunday league match with his club Hillwood when the player landed awkwardly after a challenge.
The news comes as a major setback for both McAloon and the club. The midfielder has been a standout performer in the early part of the season, showcasing impressive determination in his recovery from a similar injury last February.
