United come into the clash after a mixed run of form. Southside United started the season with a run of three victories in a row, but unfortunately for the Southside club they have lost their last 2 games to Cumbernauld Pumas and Kings Park United.
Colts meanwhile, have enjoyed a strong opening to the season. With three wins from their last five matches – including a confident victory over St Mungo 21s – they sit 3rd in the Boca Championship with their goal difference of +5 from just one league win underlines their attacking threat and defensive organisation.
On paper, Rhu Colts enter as the favourites. With momentum and league position on their side, they are estimated to have around a 70% chance of victory. However, Southside United’s recent resurgence suggests this could be a closer contest than the table implies. Kick-off is at 10:00 on 13 September – a test of form, resilience, and early-season ambition awaits.
