The GCFA Squad of the Week has become part of the Saturday dressing room routine — now four seasons in, it’s stronger than ever. What makes it thrive isn’t just the football, but the effort clubs put into nominating their players and explaining why they stood out. This week’s line-up reflects that, with some brilliant details that bring the performances to life — from penalty saves and tireless shifts, to free-kicks, hat-tricks and leadership at the back.

Goalkeeper.

The clubs say it best: shot-stoppers aren’t just the last line, they’re often the first heroes mentioned. This week’s keeper nomination came with detail that shows exactly why his saves mattered.

GK – Ross Gallacher – CLYDEBANK RED STAR
