📢 Breaking News – GDSFC Shake-Up!

The GDSFC has seen a shake-up, with Budhill Colts and Budhill United deciding to merge ahead of the season.

Both sides had battled against each other in past years, but will now pull resources together under one badge. The aim is simple — a stronger squad and a better chance of competing week in, week out.

Here’s how the club explained the decision:

“Instead of running with two Sunday teams, we’ve merged Budhill Utd Colts and ourselves together. Both weren’t getting decent numbers each week and it makes sense to join up for a better pool of players. It’s annoyed a few folk — but we think it’s the best thing going forward.”

So we’ve decided instead of running with 2 Sunday teams to just merge Bud-hill Utd Colts and ourselves together.

Both weren’t getting decent numbers each week and were getting trialist in that weren’t good enough n both lost players so be best thing going forward.

Will be better for us both going forward as gives us better pool of players.

Seems to have Pissed a few people off us merging but f**k them🖕
