We announce GCFA PREMIER DIVISION PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR AUGUST
August was such a good month for Toryglen Thistle and our winner announced today played a big part in their team improving their position within GCFA Premier league and progressing in the cup competitions.
An excellent August personally means T’oryglen Thistle attacker Andy Lindsay walks away with the Premier Division Player of the Month award.
Andy is a top quality attacker who leads his team by example on the park. The winger never hides and always demands the ball to try and make things happen for his club.
Andy has been amongst the goals throughout August most importa/ntly helping his team climb up the Premier League table.
Five goals and a tremendous month of football from Andy rightly see’s him deservedly pick up the GCFA Premier League Player of the Month.
THE GAFFER
We caught up with his gaffer Kieran Scott who said.
“Andy has began the season on fire, scoring some very important goals, he’s a player that fits our system perfect and always gives 100%”
From blistering pace to ruthless finishing, August showed us exactly what the Boca Championship is all about — quality on the pitch and passion behind the badge. If this is the marker for the season ahead, then spectators are in for a treat.
