New Leadership for the Season Ahead 🚀
We’re excited to announce a change in leadership for the upcoming season. Last year’s vice-captain, @martin.oneill91, has been promoted to skipper and will now lead the team from the front.
Speaking about the appointment, Martin said:
“Surprised to be given the captaincy, but it would seem normal service has resumed. Looking to the season ahead, I’m hopeful we can have another really positive year. I’m not one for making predictions, but it’s going to be a tough season with some strong teams in our division. It’ll be great to test ourselves in such a competitive league.”
Stepping into the role of vice-captain is @i_am_jaime, who proved himself as a natural leader last season when called upon to wear the armband.
Jaime shared his thoughts ahead of the campaign:
“Similar to Martin, I just want us to be as competitive as possible without getting ahead of ourselves. We’ve got a cracking squad, and I think we’ll have a good season.”
With fresh leadership and plenty of optimism, the team is ready to embrace the challenges of a new campaign. Bring it on! ⚽💪
