August’s Finest – Meet Our Conference League Manager of the Month Nominees – Who Deserves August’s Crown? Three Standouts, One Title – August’s Conference League Manager of the Month Shortlist

Connor Moffat – Westhill Utd

Experienced boss Connor Moffat was really unlucky not to lead his team into the Boca Championship as a win against Nevis and a draw against Third Lanark was just not enough.

Connor will be hoping Saturday’s win can be the kick start to a special season for him and his ever improving Westhill United team.

Moff was an easy nomination for the Manager of the month award.

The Gaffer started off life in the Conference League with a tremendous 3-0 victory over Burnhill FC.

Max and his newly formed Banknock FC have really impressed in their short stay in the Glasgow Colleges Football Association.

The gaffer has really held his young team together in the opening month of the season and he will be looking to go from strength to strength as the season continues.

HARRY MCKAY – REMO FC

Harry and his team have started the season really well considering they are just a brand new team. An opening day defeat to recently relegated Lokomotiv was quickly forgotten when they beat Camby FA 4-1.

A draw with Woodbank FC was just not enough to see Remo go into the Championship, unfortunately Conference football is the way forward for Remo this season.

A win in the Cinema Cup and a win in the opening day of the league season against Cathcart was a fantastic way to finish off the month for Remo.

August was a statement month in the Conference League. three managers, three different stories – but the same impact: driving their sides forward when it mattered most.

August was a statement month in the Conference League. Three managers, three stories, one impact: leading their sides with drive and determination.

📊 Who gets your nod? We’ll soon find out — but one thing’s certain: the bar has already been set sky-high.
