DTI AFC
Rebuilding after relegation, hungry for redemption
DTI AFC finished last season on a sour note by being relegated in the playoffs against a youthful and vibrant Clydebank Red Star team.
DTI look to have rebuilt during pre season and have definitely brought in a number of players who add to the quality of their squad.
The club earned their place in the Championship by finishing in second place in their qualifying group after securing wins against Banknock FC & Bearsden AFC.
GLASGOW ANSAR

After spending last season in the lower standings of the Boca Championship the club started this season with a draw against Greater Croftpark Rose and A defeat to Rosebank United but a marvellous victory over Cathcart.
Four points from a tough group was enough to take Glasgow Ansar into the Championship and ensure that they will be playing against some quality teams.
GREATER CROFTPARK ROSE
A merger bringing strength and stability
– A merger bringing strength and stability.

This merger seems to have brought stability to both clubs and that in turn could mean a bright future for the new and improved Greater Croftpark Rose.
A combination of Scott from Rosehill, Stephen from Croftpark and Ben from Greater Glasgow has the potential to make a good management structure
GCR started the season off with a draw to Glasgow Ansar and wins against Cathcart and Rosebank United. Those seven points secured the club Championship football for the coming season.

Kings Park seem to have real competition in their squad this season after keeping most of last season’s player and making some good additions to their player pool.
Kings Park look like they could be one of the teams to beat this season but they start with a very tricky opener against Southside United.

Lokos luck in the top flight finally came to an end last year, after many seasons competing in the premier division. Many lokos stalwarts retired last year, including captain Brian Gifford and long standing centre back James Andersen. Manager Ross Milne and his brother Dave also passed the baton on after a decade at the club. Everyone connected with Lokos and many across the GCFA have wished them all and have thanked them for their services.
Onto this season, Ross Methven and Aiden Laurie have taken over the management and running of the club, with new Captain Paul McCambridge and Vice Jason Fyfe. Lokos have managed to recruit more than a handful of new bodies, which have gelled quickly.
After a few friendlies in June, Lokos managed to go unbeaten in the league cup Group A, with wins over new boys Remo and Cambuslang, and a hard fought draw against Woodbank. Lokos have been free scoring so far with 11 in the league cup then a 7-1 hammering of Ansar in a friendly on Saturday.

WOODBANK FC
Rebuilding with momentum and new faces

Club went through a lot of change in 2025. New manager Brian, new club captain Zack, new coach Stevie and a lot of new faces. Unfortunately some very good players and regular starters have moved on but with the clubs best wishes has made it more a summer of change and bigger “rebuild”.
Before this enforced rebuild Woodbank FC had momentum from the end of last season with a really strong finish winning three out of the four of their final league games.
Speaking to Woodbank it has been said that preseason preparation has went better than expected with a lot of commitment to the training and hard work before a lot of good performances in preseason with mixed results but a few that probably gave us good learning as we tired new things.
The boys who have stuck with Woodbank have only gotten better with challenge from the new lads who have joined driving up standards from an already good core team who are only getting better.
The group phase for promotion to the Championship saw Woodbank go unbeaten putting in three very good performances.
