After much deliberation it has been decided who the official midfielder of the 2024/25 season is

Before we tell you the winner we take a look at the players who impressed us most over the 2024/2025 season and who were in our nominations.

The Corinthians player is just an all round quality footballer, He can play in any position on the park and make it look easy. The midfield magician even played some of his early games for the league winners in defence 🤯

Eddie Ferns was a popular choice for this Prestigious awards, When we were thinking of possible candidates and speaking with other managers this player consistently came into the conversation.

A player who made it into the squad of the week on several occasions, he was a big part of the Corinthians Premier League winning team and also had a standout season in the gcfa premier league cup team that lost the final on penalty kicks.

On seceral occasions when we have seen Eddie play he is a dominating figure in the middle of the park, Hes not just a normal midfielder to be honest, this boy is more of a complete midfielder, he defends well, scores goals and goes box to box.

Several players we have spoken to speak so highly of Eddie Ferns so making him or midfielder of the season was a popular choice.

A Corinthians delegate caught up with us and gave Eddie a special write up.
” Eddie has been a top signing for us this season. An experienced player who has been getting fitter by the game and is now flying.

He is excellent at getting past defenders in one on one situations and his delivery into the box is second to none.

13 league games – 7 goals and 12 assists.

10 cup games – 7 goals and 14 assists.

Total 23 games – 14 goals and 26 assists.

That kind of return for a midfielder is simply fantastic and is a return that had his manager ecstatic with his midfield maestro.
