MANAGERS THOUGHTS ⬇️

Clydebank Red star manager Scott chatted to our roving reporter
For your first game in the Premiership, it doesn’t get much harder than facing the reigning champions, but my boys rose to the challenge.
To a man, I thought we were outstanding. We were compact and hard to break down and then we played when we got on the ball.
We fell behind early in the 2nd half, after Corinthians beat the offside trap. However, we responded brilliantly, with Lewis James putting a quality ball into the box and Ross Cluness rattled the ball into the back of the net.
A lot of people would have written us off in that game and in this league before a ball was kicked. Saturday confirmed what everyone at Red Star already knew, we have the quality here to compete with the best.
We use the outside noise to motivate us more. A good performance and a point on the board after the first day. Everyone at the club is looking forward to building on this in the weeks ahead.
