Your midweek fix of Glasgow Colleges Football kicked off with two group games from the Glasgow Colleges Qualifying Sections.

THIRD LANARK V RHU COLTS

ThIrd Lanark AFC took on Rhu Amateurs with both teams winning their first group games on Saturday and all but confirmed their place in the Championship next season.

Two wins in the Group stages of the competition should be enough for the GCFA New boys to progress.

Rhu Colts will now fight it out between themselves and River Nevis & Westhill United for that final spot.

KINGS PARK UNITED V NETHERTON

Kings Park United took on GCGA New boys Netherton after winning their first group game on Saturday and tonights big win all but confirmed their place in the Championship next season

Two big wins on the bounce for Kings Park United signals the intentions of the club to be chasing promotion to the Premier League this season.

Netherton will now fight it out with Queens Park SFC see to see where their future will be.
