Social media HQ takes a look at the eight new clubs who joined the Glasgow Colleges Football Association and how they got on in their debuts.
BANKNOCK FC

Its hard enough to start a team up from scratch but to play your opening game of the campaign against an established team like DTI AFC is a tall order.
Banknock put in a spirited performance and will be hoping they can put some points on the board when they face fellow new boys Bearsden on Wednesday night.

BEARSDEN AFC

The GCFA new boys had an absolute nightmare start on Saturday when Southside United put 9 past them.
Bearsden will be hoping to right some wrongs when they face fellow new boys Banknock on Wednesday night.

CATHCART AFC

The club has now been rebuilt from the ground up and will take a new shape for this upcoming season.
Arguably a shock win on Saturday against one of the most improved teams in the GCFA Rosebank United saw them top the group on week one.
A win on Thursday against Greater Croftpark Rose will be enough to seal the returning Cathcarts place in the Championship.

NETHERTON FC

A trip to face in form Kings Park United ended with a 4-0 defeat and some soul searching before their winner takes all game with Queens Park SFC on Saturday.

PORT GLASGOW BOYS CLUB

Will Burnhill prove stiffer opposition on Wednesday night when the clubs meet at Parklea?
A win for Port Glasgow Boys Club will surely mean they sill be playing their football in the Championship next season.

QUEENS PARK SFC

QPSFC put up a good fight but their opponents Kings Park United were just too strong and ran out comfortable winners in the end.
Queens Park SFC now face another new team in the GCFA Netherton on Saturday. This match up will determine which division each club plays their football next season.

REMO FC

Remo will be hoping for better when they take on Cambuslang FA on Wednesday night.

THIRD LANARK AFC

Two hard fought wins against River Nevis and Rhu Colts will be enough to see Third Lanark play their football in the Championship.
