Season 2024/25 is now in our rear view mirror and Season 225/26 is fast approaching so now is the time to finish off the season with some personal awards.

The 2024/25 season was a dramatic one with three teams winning five competitions and a number of club improving throughout the season.

We look at five goalkeepers who stood out to us throughout the season.

Jonny Clark – Park Sports Project

Jonny had a tremendous personal season for Park Sports Project, The Number one will have enjoyed his first season for the club since signing from Weirs in the summer.

Clark was watched several times by social media HQ last season and every time the goalkeeper was watched he certainly impressed.

Danny Graham – TORYGLEN THISTLE

Goalkeeper Danny Graham had dream debut season in the GCFA as they he helped lead his team to the treble

Graham was a major part of the team who won the Boca Championship, the Jim Harvey Cup and the GCFA CUP.

What an unbelievable achievement from Danny and his co managers will be delighted with him.

Ross Gallagher – CLYDEBANK RED STAR

Ross Gallagher of Clydebank Red Star flung his name into the hat with a fantastic season thus helping his club to promotion to the GCFA Premier league

Gallagher was another regular member of the squad of the week again showing the consistency of his performances throughout the season.

Pollock will be delighted with his first choice goalkeeper and he will be thinking he still has one of the best goalkeepers in the league even after their promotion up a division.

Andrew Patterson – Greater Croftpark Rose

Patterson joined Crofpark now known as Greater Croftpark Rose.

Podge as he is affectionately known to his teammates was a calming influence on the team and produced a number of quality saves throughout the season.

The shot stopper was not content with making quality saves, he was saving penalty kicks also, Podge saved around eight penalty kicks throughout the season.

Anton Keetley – CLYDESIDE ATHLETIC

Keetley was a fairly regular member of our famous GCFA squad of the week which in turn means the goalkeeper has had a very consistent season.

The keepers club Clydeside Athletic have been a team in transition this season but having Keetley in goals has been a massive boost for the club.

The Clydeside Management team will be delighted with what his shot stopper has produced throughout the season and they will be hoping there is more to come from him next season.
