This Saturday we will see some League Cup action as Kings Park United take on GCFA new boys Queens Park AFC in both clubs first competitive match of season 2025/26.

This opening day encounter is a very tough match to predict as Queens Park SFC are an unknown quantity who have just joined the league set up.

Kings Park on the other hand finished season 2024/25 flying after a management change in late February.

Two clubs who by the sounds of things are situated very close to each other will face each other for the first time in a competitive match h up.

The bookmakers slightly favour Kings Park United in this Championship clash against Queens Park SFC.

Given Kings Parks end of season form and their array of firepower it’s clear why they’re the slight favourites for this matchup.

Queens Park are a very dangerous team as they proved by their success in their previous league set up.

A classic encounter brought to us on the opening day of the season, What more could we ask for ?

This will be a fast paced match with at least four goals in it as both teams like to play attacking football.
