How would you describe the identity of your team?
We’re a hard-working, tight-knit group with a never-give-up attitude. No matter the score, we fight until the final whistle.
What do you think sets your team apart from others in the league?
We’re a young squad with a lot of energy, hunger, and potential. What we might lack in experience, we make up for in work rate, togetherness, and a fearless style of play.

How has the team evolved since you first joined?
We’ve grown massively in terms of discipline and cohesion. When I first joined, we had talent but lacked consistency. Now, we’ve built a solid structure and mentality.
Who are the players to watch if someone comes to watch your team?
Kai’s the one who can control a game on his own — calm on the ball and always pulling the strings. And then there’s Jock — if he turns up, you’re in for a show. He loves taking players on one-v-one and can light up a match… though there’s always a chance he’s still recovering from the night before!
What does being captain mean to you personally?
It’s a real honour. Being trusted to lead this group means a lot, and I take pride in setting the tone for how we train, play, and carry ourselves.

How do you motivate your teammates before a match?
I usually try to speak to a few players individually — just a quick word to get their heads right and remind them what they bring to the team. I always give our number 9 Michael a bit of stick too — I keep setting him up for assists, but he somehow finds new ways to miss! Jokes aside, he’s a massive part of the team and always puts in a shift.
What’s the biggest leadership lesson you’ve learned on this team?
Lead by example — whether it’s work rate, attitude, or how you respond to setbacks. People follow actions more than words.
How would you describe the team’s chemistry off the pitch?
Brilliant. We’ve got a great laugh together — group chats are always buzzing, and we’re always there for each other, on and off the field.
Who’s the funniest player in the dressing room?
That’s got to be Andy and Jock — always cracking jokes, never a dull moment with them around.
Who’s the most serious or focused?
Big Daly switches into game mode early. You can tell it’s matchday by the look on his face.

Definitely the 3–3 draw we scraped with just 11 players and no proper keeper. It was chaos, but the lads gave everything. Young Cammy scored an absolute screamer from his own half to equalise — unreal moment. It was also my first game standing in as captain, so it really meant a lot.
How do you and the team deal with tough losses?
We talk openly — we own it, learn from it, and move on. We also reflect on the next Training session.
Where do you see the team in the next few years?
I see us contending regularly and building a strong legacy — not just for results, but for the culture we’ve created.

What advice would you give to someone thinking about joining your club?
Bring your best attitude, be ready to graft, and you’ll be welcomed like family.
What keeps you passionate about playing at the amateur level?
The love of the game, the bond with the lads, and the feeling of competing — it never gets old.

Best goal you’ve seen on your team?
Andy’s second vs Strathclyde Utd we’ve never heard the end of it. What a finish tho!
Who’s always late to training?
Gunn — we’ve all accepted it by now! Snorlax me and his friends call him the boy loves a sleep
Team DJ — who controls the music?
It’s usually Jock on the speaker, but he’s been MIA lately, so I’ve had to step up and take over.
